Today... our first beer fest at our own marina. 10 local beer brewing companies are promoting their beers! In addition, there will be a local major band playing on our breakwater, most of the afternoon and into the early evening.
Caroline and Hank enjoyed an afternoon aboard me! ending up with a nice dinner aboard.
Music, beer and wine all looked so good.
Below are some pictures Hank took...
Seemed like a good party at the dock!
Hopfully sailing next time!
till then...Tarka out!
My sailing adventures, off the coast of British Columbia, Canada, as seen by "Tarka" (1973 Paceship - Chance 32 - sailboat), and the Continuing Sailing Adventures of Hank Schut (Your comments are welcomed)

June 1 and June 7 weekends - Just a sail about
Good days and what good days it was!!
Both weekends, we all, (Caroline, Hank and I), went for a nice sail around the block.
June 01...
Sailed as far as Collingwood Channel, great winds... not too much and not too little... just right. We planned to visit Aaron at Plumber Cove, but ran out of time and ended up having lunch halfway cross the Channel. The winds were around 10 knots with little chop. Hank decided to throw me into a heave-two and park while they were having their lunch; I sat there steady as a rock.
June 07...
Sailing to Snug Cove and stayed the night. We were accompanied by Rosa Maria, Arron and Kaya, their faithful dog. Hank and I went first to Snug Cove, with Caroline taking the ferry that evening. We all have a great time, just hanging around.
Now back home again, waiting for the next adventure...
Hank is planning for the big trip around the Gulf Islands... going for 2 weeks!
Til then
Tarka out!
