It is with sadness that I, Tarka, was withdrawn from the up and coming Swiftsure Race. The crew, Hank and I were looking so forward in participating.
On April 21, Hank had a major heart attack while working on a friend's sailboat.
He needed a 5 bypass open heart operation... after 3 weeks in the hospital, he is finally home, recovering.
It may be sometime before my sails are raised again and may become a power boat for a time. I look forward in raising my sails again with Hank.
